Municipal Secondary Schools, Stow Hill

The Municipal Secondary School on Stow Hill, opened on July 7th, 1911, affords valuable facilities for scholars anxious to receive higher instruction. Three other Secondary Schools are also provided for the same purposes: Brynglas Central, Belle Vue Central, and Hatherleigh Central.
The offices of the Education Authority are in Charles Street, and were erected in 1898, at a cost of £6,875, and contain a Board Room and usual administrative offices.
